For the Renault 4’s 60th anniversary, Renault and TheArsenale created AIR4: a flying reinterpretation of the original car. The project took the R4’s familiar silhouette and imagined a different future for personal mobility.
Conceived as an electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle, AIR4 brings an automotive icon into the world of flight. The collaboration connects heritage with experimentation, turning an anniversary into a new conversation about movement.
